Harris County Republican Party Clubs

To all volunteers and members of the Harris County Republican Party Clubs,

We are wasting our time with these Republican clubs. These clubs are preventing us from carrying out the much needed work. HCRP is missing precinct chairman on the east side, and without these chairmen we can never hope to win a city election or defeat a democratic incumbent.

We are spending way too much time going to club meetings instead of block walking in Democrat territory on the east side. I too am guilty of this. I attend two Republican meetings a week instead of doing the work that is needed to grow the party. I was mistaken, in my ignorance, I thought that attending a HYR event or a Presidential watch party counted as service to the community. That by attending these meetings, I was some how reaching the average uninformed voter with a message of limited government, free market enterprise, and individual liberty.

It was easy. It was easy to surround myself with people who thought just like me, all conversations revolving around ideas of liberty. There are people in our community who don't believe in liberty, yes even in the GOP.

The time I spend attending these Republican meetings could be better spent meeting with my representative or at least writing them a letter. Instead of attending the Pachyderm lunch why not go down to city hall and testify how councils corrupt socialistic practices are destroying the city of Houston? Instead of attending that TARC dinner, how about organizing a neighborhood blockwalk.

Club meetings are easy but they are ineffective and creating the wide spread cultural change that we Texans need to make Texas the most libertarian state in the union. Free State Project be dammed.

For the good of the party, there needs to be less clubs and less club meetings. Unless that club has a clear and decisive direction it wants to lead the party in, the resources of time and money would be better spent propping up the county party.

So my question to you is, can we somehow merge many of these smaller clubs into a larger club in an effort to limit the number of meetings and then instead of holding a meeting, could we just get the work done?

Liberty is rising.

vacancy committee 6-8-2014

There was this guy named Jesus, and he hadn't committed a crime against the state of Rome. BUT he had been a rather naughty boy at the temple which pissed off his fellow Jews to the point they wanted him dead.....
Just like Jesus, Mickey D, has choosen to buck the status quo and defend the seventh and eighth amendment.
I interviewed Mickey D, in depth yesterday. I really hounded him in a way i haven't done since Richie Richs last vacancy committee. You could say I was brutal. I couldn't find anything he had done that would disqualify him for precinct chairman.
In the end of discussion, it was other members of the Republican Party, members that represent the statist socialist values of the Republican Party that prevented him from being appointed.
Now i know how Pilate felt when he ordered the execution of Jesus. He didn't believe it to be the right thing to do but he caved to peer pressure just like the current vacancy committee did last night.
I wish my fellow Republican vacancy committee members would be a little braver. In fact, the world would be a better place if every one could be as brave as me.

So Kulbersun gave me his phone number like a few months ago. This NSA/Patriot Act/DHS has become a real hot button issue and I texted him a few weeks ago and said "Vote with Justin Amash". Which he replied

I submitted an amendment to the DHS bill to dismantle the entire agency and transfer it all back to original agencies.

My reply was thumbs up to you.

So we traded some other texts, and I ended up calling his office on Monday and leaving a message that I would like to launch a PR campaign in TX CD7 announcing Kulbersun .

So his policy director called me today, and we discussed what the office is trying to do (eliminate the DHS) and I volunteered to lead the harris county republican party in helping in this endeavor.

Victory through Vengeance

The legislative session of the 84th Texas is coming to a close and none of the liberty legislation got passed into law. No open carry, no cannabis decriminalization, no end to the red light cameras, no school voucher program. Nothing. I feel so incredibly angry inside. I project this anger toward Sarah Davis, Joan Huffman, Joseph Strauss, Tan Parker, Abel Herrera, Sanforina Thompson, Villabla,

No, every time you ignore the constituents in favor of some business special interest. You are going to be punished. I will never give up. I will never surrender. And I WILL make your life hell until such time where I can push your ass out of office. To this I swear.

You've reached the end of the line.

5-12-2015 Purity Squad

I am sorry to say that they purity division is back in force at the Harris County Republican Party Vacancy Committee. The fiscal conservatives on the committee lost two members when Lindow because the SD Chairman and Bercu became engagement director. So the social conservatives have the votes and there is nothing I can do about it.

At the committee meeting last night 5-11-2015:

Rasuali Wayne Bray was accused of not giving straight forward answers on social issues and his loyalty to the party was questioned. I will remind the reader that Rasuali Bray is the African American Engagement Director for TX GOP. It makes me want to pound my head on the desk. The absurdity.

We have this other problem too, and that is that in the largely Hispanic and Black neighborhoods, the only people who will volunteer to become precinct chairmen are older white people in their 60’s and 70’s who didn’t earn enough money to “white flight” the neighborhood. Yeah, I understand the reasoning that having someone is better than having no one. Only problem is that white people in their 60’s and 70’s aren’t going to block walk their neighborhood to find and train Hispanic and Blacks young adults to take over the precinct. Mostly because they can’t walk for hours at a time and also because young urban youth scare them.

This gets me to Heather Harris of Precinct 76. Who interviewed last night and stated that the reason that she wants to become a chairman in the Republican Party is because her neighborhood (near Alameda Mall) is being taken over by Hispanics. She went on to say that she is dismayed by the “gang talk” she witnessed dropping her Caucasian 13 year old son off at an all Hispanic High School. Personally, I and other members of the committee found her to be rude and condescending. But because she aligns with the party platform, she was recommended to the executive committee (but not by me).

Unlike Rafael Enriquez, who I would describe as an effeminate homosexual, who was also rude and condescending. (Disclaimer: Unlike Heather Harris the committee called him at 11:30 PM for his interview, maybe not the best time to call someone) Difference is that Rafael is a proud independent who has worked on both Republican (including Greg Abbott and Rick Perry) and Democrat campaigns (like Sylvia Garcia). Heather has never had any involvement in the party. I will go on record saying I voted against Rafael because he was a jerk.

Which brings me to Jennifer Allen (submitted application in Oct 21, 204), another moderate, who has much experience in running civic organizations. I didn’t interview Jennifer Allen because the board split into two (one being led by the social conservatives, the other being the fiscal conservatives). But from what the social conservatives told me, she was too moderate for their taste. However, Jennifer came to interview twice (first time she had to leave, sister was in a serious car wreck) which shows dedication. She also decided to join the Republican Party, not the Democrats, not the Libertarians. I didn’t interview Jennifer but I decided to be the single vote for her.

But the hardest vote was between Larry Korkmas and Christopher Harvey. Most of you know Larry Kormas, a long time outstanding member of the HCRP. Christopher Harvey is a young energetic black man who was a delegate to the Republican National Convention who in five minutes restored my faith in the party. Larry Korkmas (70 years old) did not agree to train Christopher Harvey as his replacement. Larry represents the past and Christopher represents the future, unfortunately the purity division decided to invest in the past.

I know that from my work within the party, HCRP has to get moderate votes to win elections in this county. I know that there are socialistic ideas that a person may have that would prevent my recommendation. But there is also the difference between a perceived threat and a real threat. I know from my own trying that it’s impossible to change the Platform. So what’s the threat of letting some moderates join the Republican Party? A party so set in its ways that a year after ditching the purity division of vacancy, it magically returns.

-----
Tonight 5-12-2015 I will phone bank for HCRP with the hopes that I will find more Gay, Hispanic, Jewish, Black, Moderate, Libertarian, and Young volunteers. The people who really represent Harris County.

5/11/2015

Ah. Vacancy Committee meets today. 596 precincts in Harris County vacant. Yaay. HCRP is recommending 10 applicants a month. On average HCRP would need 60 months or 5 years to undo the damage the last County Chairman did. He wants to run for State Chairman in 2016 on a campaign of sticking to the current GOP platform. Excuse me? I don't see your ass down in Montrose or on the Spanish speaking side of town. Let's see you advocate the platform to members of Mara Salvatrucha 13,  MS13. Lets see you convince participants in the Gay Pride Parade to vote Republican using the party platform. First you prove it can work, then you can be State Chairman.

In other news... the Texas Legislative session is almost done and legislation on open carry permit or a decriminalization of Cannabis has yet to be passed. I am itching to pull the trigger on Project Brimstone and destroy the Strauss political machine once and for all. You Strauss, I know something you don't know; I betcha, betcha, betcha.

I have requested an event tent from the Rand Paul Campaign to work local city events. I almost hope that my request is not granted, so I can opt out of the Rand Paul Campaign and focus all my attention on Project Brimstone. That would be nice.

4:50PM

Bill: HB 1424 was passed to engrossment today.

http://www.legis.state.tx.us/BillLookup/history.aspx?LegSess=84R&Bill=HB1424

Relating to the designation of certain synthetic compounds to Penalty Group 2 or 2-A of the Texas Controlled Substances Act; increasing penalties for certain persons convicted of the manufacture and delivery of controlled substances.

Should synthetic weed be illegal? I say no. I don't use drugs but paying the public security firms to punish drug users is bad policy, even if the drug is straight poison.

This legislation, and legislation like it, is nothing more than a subsidy for police labor unions and the prison industrial complex.

6-May-2015

Today Im going to contact all the Chairmen, Vacant committee interviewed throughout this term and ask if they will help phone bank next Tuesday.

WISH ME LUCK.
-------------------------------------------------
Also, I wrote up this letter on my lunch break:

Representative Debbie Riddle,

My name is #@$%^&*(. I am a precinct chairman in the Harris County Republican Party in SD 17. I volunteer my free time to recruit precinct chairmen for the HCRP. Currently I am spending 1-2 hours a day inviting precinct chairmen and voters to phone bank on Tuesdays to find Republican voters out of the general election voters.

I am writing you today because you are on the House Calendars Committee. I would greatly appreciate if you would influence the committee to take Moody's bill HB507 out of committee for a floor vote. I have read that this will save the state of Texas $77 Billion in criminal prosecution fees. I want this bill to pass because a felony is too harsh a penalty for this crime.

If you decide not to help me, I will not have any hard feelings. I will still look your %^&*() in the eye when I shake $%^&*() hand.

Thank you for your time and have a great day.

Who else is on calendars committee?

-----------------------------
Oh an an amazing event happened today.
House Bill 2165 by state Rep. David Simpson (R-Longview) would allow possession and delivery of marijuana beginning in September 2015. It would still be illegal to sell the drug to minors. The measure passed the House Criminal Jurisprudence Committee on a 5-2 vote.

I already have the website created to destroy Abel Herrera political career created. His vote on HB507 is going to be the key feature of the website. Since he reversed his stance, I really don't have anything to attack him with. So I will have to find someone else to make an example of. I want to become the boogie man of the state capitol. I want Representatives to fear my name. I want them to know that I can touch their political careers from 100's of miles away.
